Welcome to Tencent Cloud VOD(Video On Demand).

Tencent Cloud VOD service is based on Tencent's years of technology accumulation and infrastructure construction. It provides customers with audio and video application-related needs, including audio and video storage management, audio and video transcoding processing, audio and video accelerated playback, audio and video encryption, audio and video One-stop solution for video AI capabilities, You can go to API Category for details.

Please make sure you fully understand Tencent Cloud VOD Overview before using these interfaces. Fees will be incurred after calling the interfaces. For specific charges, please refer to Purchase Guide.

Glossary

Some common terms covered in this document are as follows:

Name Description
appid When developers access VOD services The user-dimensional unique resource ID owned by the resource is used to identify the resource.
secretid The project identification ID owned by the developer, used for identity authentication.
secretkey The project identity key owned by the developer.
fileid The media file ID corresponding to the audio and video in VOD.
taskid The task ID of the video processing task.

Quick Start

To use Tencent Cloud VOD API, you need to perform the following steps:

  1. In Tencent Cloud [VOD Console] (https://console.tencentcloud.com/vod/overview) to activate Tencent Cloud VOD service.
  2. Obtain the appid, secretid, and secretkey contents from the Cloud API Key page in the access management console.
  3. Call the API to perform operations.
