This document introduces the fee composition and billing modes of Elastic IP (EIP).
Tencent Cloud accounts are classified into the standard account type and the traditional account type. Different account types have different billing subjects, with slight differences in charging models but identical pricing. You can also upgrade a traditional account to a standard account as needed. For more information on account types, see Account Type Description.

Fee Composition

EIP fees are composed of IP resource fees and public network fees.

Description
IP resource fees
When an EIP is not bound to any cloud resources, IP resource fees will be charged. For the Standard Account Type, IP resource fees will not be charged for an EIP in the hourly bandwidth and monthly bandwidth subscription billing modes.
Anti-DDoS EIP configuration fees
Such fees are only involved when you purchase Anti-DDoS EIPs.
Public network fees
After an EIP is bound to cloud resources, public network fees will be charged when you access the public network. There are different billing subjects for different account types.
