Introduction to Auto Repayment

Tencent Cloud provides certain credit limits and billing cycles for postpaid accounts of international portal customers based on their customer tier, allowing you to purchase and use cloud services in advance within the credit limit.
If you enable the automatic repayment feature, the system will automatically deduct the amount due from the default repayment bank card bound to your account. This helps avoid overdue repayments and service interruption or termination caused by insufficient balance.
Please ensure that your default repayment card is in normal status and has sufficient credit. If automatic repayment fails due to an exception, you can refer to Top-up Process Instructions to make a manual repayment.

Auto Repayment Rules

The automatic repayment feature supports real-time collection, monthly deduction, and automatic deduction when the balance is insufficient for auto-renewal. You can enable or disable it at any time as needed.
Note:
The automatic deduction feature for insufficient balance during auto-renewal is being gradually rolled out. If this feature is not yet enabled for your account, please wait patiently. If you have any questions, contact your business manager or submit a ticket to reach us.

General Description
South Korea User Instructions
Real-time collection
If your available credit is insufficient before the payment due date, the system will perform real-time collection to restore the credit limit, preventing overdue payments from affecting services. For example, for pay-as-you-go products billed hourly, the system checks hourly whether the credit limit is sufficient and triggers automatic repayment when it is not.
Currently, the billing cycles for pay-as-you-go products include hourly, daily, and monthly.
Example: The available credit is USD 600, of which the credit limit portion is USD 500. When the available credit is consumed to USD -1, a real-time collection of USD 501 is triggered, and the credit limit is restored.
If a payment due date is specified in the contract or under other special agreements, real-time collection will not be performed.
For customers in South Korea, payments are deducted in KRW through the payment channel, with a minimum repayment amount of KRW 100. The billing currency for the international portal is USD, and the system converts between USD and KRW at the agreed exchange rate.
If the deduction amount during automatic repayment is less than KRW 100, the system will deduct a minimum of KRW 100. The excess amount will be credited to your account balance as a top-up and can be used for future resource consumption.
Monthly deduction
The system will collect payment from the default payment method of your account on the monthly payment due date (starting from the 10th of each month) to settle all due and unpaid historical bills.
The payment due date is determined based on the billing month and your account's billing cycle.
Example:
If your billing cycle is 1 month, the bill for May will be generated in early June (fixed to the following month), with a payment due date of July 10. The system will initiate automatic collection starting from July 10.
If your billing cycle is 2 months, the billing for May will also be generated in early June, with a payment due date of August 10. The system will initiate automatic collection starting from August 10.
If the automatic repayment feature is enabled and the bill for a previous month is not confirmed, the system will still automatically deduct the payment from the default payment method of your account on the due date to ensure timely repayment and avoid service interruption caused by overdue payment.
Automatic deduction when the balance is insufficient for auto-renewal
When a resource expires and auto-renewal is triggered, if the available credit in your account is insufficient to cover the renewal amount, the system will automatically deduct the difference from your bound payment method to ensure successful renewal.
Example:
The auto-renewal order amount is USD 99, and the available credit in the account is USD 100. The available credit is used to pay USD 99, so no deduction from the bank card is required.
The auto-renewal order amount is USD 99, and the available credit in the account is USD 9. The available credit is used to pay USD 9, and the remaining USD 90 will be deducted from the bank card.
This capability is being gradually rolled out. If it is not yet enabled for your account, the existing processing logic will be maintained when the balance is insufficient for auto-renewal, and no automatic deduction will be made to cover the difference.
The amount deducted from the bank card will first be credited to the account balance, and then used to pay for the renewal order.
If a payment due date is specified in a contract or other special agreement, automatic deduction will not be performed when the balance is insufficient for auto-renewal.
