Basic Concepts
private network instance: private network information of edge physical machines, defining Edge Zone, private network subnet, and other information. One edge zone only supports creating one private network instance.
public network instance: public network information of edge physical machines, defining public network lines, routing announcement modes, and other information. One edge zone only supports creating one public network instance.
Operation Steps
Creating an edge physical machine requires a private network instance, a public network instance, and a public IP address. After completing the creation of related resources, you can create the target edge physical machine according to business requirements.
Step 1: Create private network instance
Based on business requirements, determine information such as edge zone and private network subnet, and create a private network instance via the console.
Step 2: Create public network instance
Determine information such as public network lines and routing announcement modes, and create a public network instance via the console.
Step 3: Applying for public IP addresses
Within the public network instance of the corresponding edge zone, apply for the required number of public IP addresses to enable the edge physical machine to interconnect with the public network.
Step 4: Create an edge physical machine
Determine information such as edge zone, private network instance, public network instance, edge physical machine specifications, operating system, and quantity, and create the edge physical machine via the console.
