Setting the Read-Write Attribute of the Database Proxy

After a read-only instance is created, you can purchase the database proxy, configure the connection address policy, and set the database proxy address in an application. In this way, the system automatically forwards write requests to the primary instance and read requests to read-only instances. This document describes how to enable read/write separation via the console.
Prerequisites
Operation Steps
1. Log in to the TencentDB for MySQL Console, select a region at the top, and then click the target instance ID to go to the instance management page.
2. On the instance management page, choose Database Proxy > Overview, locate the target access address under Connection Address, and click Adjust Configurations in its Operation column.
3. On the configuration adjustment page, select the read/write attributes for this access connection, complete the read weight allocation, and click OK.
Note:
The weight here is for read requests (non-transactional).
