Specific fee rules for yearly/monthly subscription CBS:
Following the daily price difference compensation, the upgrade fee = monthly upgrade price difference × number of upgrade months × applicable discount.
Monthly upgrade price difference: The difference between the prices of the original specification and the new specification on a monthly basis.
Number of upgrade months: The upgrade fee is prorated daily into months.
Upgrade days = resource expiration time - current time.
Number of upgrade months = Upgrade days / (365/12).
Applicable discount: The discount is matched based on the number of upgrade months, where the discount is the one effective on the official website.
Note:
This operation does not affect the resource expiration time.
This operation can use vouchers and platform credits (granted funds) to offset the fees.

On May 5, the user scaled out the CBS to 300GiB. The fees are calculated as follows:
Monthly upgrade price difference = 22.5 - 15 = $7.5/month.
Upgrade days = 27 days.
Applicable discount = No discount is applicable.
Final total upgrade cost = 7.5 × (27 / (365/12)) × 1 = $6.66.
