Feature Introduction

When the cluster is in an isolated status or a node is in a pending-recycle status, the EMR console supports one-click release to prevent ongoing fees for associated products, helping to reduce costs.
Note
After immediate release, the cluster or node will be permanently released, and all data will be deleted and cannot be recovered. Proceed with caution.
Associated products include, but are not limited to: cloud data disks, cloud data warehouse MySQL, and public network traffic.

Directions

Immediate Cluster Release

Note
The cluster is in an isolated status.
1. Log in to the EMR console, and click the corresponding cluster ID/Name in the cluster list to enter the cluster details page.
2. In the cluster list, select the corresponding cluster, choose Management > Release Now, and click Confirm Release in the pop-up window.

Immediate Node Release

Note
Nodes that are in a pending-recycle status in the recycle bin.
1. Log in to the EMR console, and click the corresponding cluster ID/Name in the cluster list to enter the cluster details page.
2. On the cluster details page, select Cluster Resources > Resource Management > Recycle Bin, and check the corresponding node.
3. In Operations, select More > Release Now, and click Confirm Release in the Confirm Release the Selected Node Immediately pop-up window.
