TDMQ for MQTT offers a comprehensive observability system, including monitoring, alarm, and Prometheus monitoring, to help customers quickly identify, locate, and resolve problems, ensuring stable business operations.

Monitoring Capabilities

TDMQ for MQTT provides default resource monitoring and alarm capabilities based on Tencent Cloud Observability Platform (TCOP). It enables real-time monitoring of resources created under your account, such as clusters and topics. Through these monitoring metrics, you can learn about cluster information such as resource usage, number of connections, and message backlog, helping you better assess the cluster capacity usage level and detect risks in advance.
The monitoring capabilities supported by MQTT are as follows:

Basic Monitoring
With basic monitoring, you can view monitoring metrics in two dimensions: instances and topics.
Cluster-level metric observation for identifying issues and cluster capacity planning in ops scenarios.
Prometheus Monitoring
Integration with Prometheus monitoring of TCOP ensures unified collection, storage, and visualized display of data, achieving more automated online Ops.
Providing an open-source and compatible monitoring integration solution, to support integration with self-built Ops platforms.

Alarm Capabilities

TDMQ for MQTT provides alarm capabilities for cloud services based on TCOP. You can configure alarm rules for monitoring metrics in TCOP. When a monitoring metric reaches the set alarm threshold, you will be notified via email, SMS, WeChat, or call. You can take preventive or remedial measures in time. Properly configuring alarm rules can help improve the robustness and reliability of your application.
