The Data Transfer Service (DTS) server needs to be able to connect to the source database; otherwise an error will be reported with the error details: "Check if the DTS server can connect to the source database."
The original server needs to be connected; otherwise, an error will be reported with the error details: "Insufficient migration account permissions. Unable to complete the migration."

Check if the DTS server can connect to the source database.
Please check if the SQL service startup account for the source instance is using the built-in Local System account. You need to select "Built-in account" in "Log on as" in the startup configuration and modify it to start with the Local System account.
Please check if xp_cmdshell is enabled on the source instance. xp_cmdshell needs to be enabled. Please ensure the migration account has sysadmin permissions.
