Scenarios

After successfully creating a RabbitMQ cluster, you can view and adjust its basic information in the console at any time, including the instance name, description, resource tags, and access address, ensuring that the cluster configuration always meets your business requirements. This document will introduce how to view basic cluster information in the console and modify or manage these basic configuration items.

Viewing Basic Cluster Information

1. Log in to the TDMQ for RabbitMQ console.
2. In the left sidebar, choose Cluster. After selecting a region, you can view the cluster list information.
The lifecycle of a TDMQ for RabbitMQ cluster refers to the statuses it undergoes from startup to release. Proper management of the cluster from startup to deletion ensures that applications running on it can provide services efficiently and cost-effectively. Cluster statuses include:
Status Name
Status Property
Status Description
Creating
Intermediate status
The status after a cluster is created but before it enters the running status.
Running (healthy/alarm)
Steady status
The status in which the cluster is running normally, with node health, disk utilization, and other metrics within normal ranges.
Migrating
Intermediate status
The status during which data migration occurs as the cluster configuration is being adjusted.
Deleting
Intermediate status
The status during which the cluster is being deleted through the console or an API.
Isolated
Intermediate status
The status in which the cluster has been isolated due to overdue payment. During this 7-day isolation period, the cluster cannot produce or consume messages, and any saved or unconsumed messages in the cluster will not be retained. However, saved configurations in the cluster will not be deleted.
Creation failed
Intermediate status
The status in which the fee is successfully deducted, but cluster assignment fails during purchase through the console or an API. If this occurs, contact online customer service for assistance.
Deletion failed
Steady status
The status in which the cluster has been manually deleted or has not been renewed for 7 days after expiration, and TDMQ for RabbitMQ failed to release the resources.
3. Click the ID of the target cluster. On the Basic Info page, you can view the resource overview, health status, basic information, access methods, web console access address, and other details of the cluster.

Description
Cluster Overview
Full series
Displays the current overall resource usage and message production/consumption of the cluster. You can understand the operational status of the cluster through these metrics. If you observe a significant increase in message backlogs or abnormal fluctuations in production/consumption rates, it indicates potential performance pressure or issues, requiring timely scale-out, optimization, or troubleshooting to ensure the stability and availability of the message service.
Inspection Result
Managed Edition
If you have enabled the intelligent inspection feature, the cluster inspection results will be displayed here. If high-risk or low-risk items are detected in the cluster, go to the Intelligent Inspection page to view detailed risk descriptions and complete problem fixes or configuration optimizations to ensure the continuous and stable operation of the cluster. It is recommended to address high-risk issues immediately, while low-risk issues can be scheduled for optimization based on business conditions.
Basic Info
Full series
Displays the detailed configuration information of the cluster. You can adjust certain parameters in the module based on your actual business requirements.
Client Access
Full series
Displays the public network and private network access points of the cluster. For details, see Configuring a Network Connection.
Web Console Access Address
Managed Edition
Displays the access address and username and password information for the open-source RabbitMQ console. It supports both public network and private network access. Public network access supports control via an allowlist.
Monitor Instance with Prometheus
Managed Edition
Provides Prometheus Exporter to collect metric information about nodes. Relevant metrics can be aggregated, displayed, and analyzed after being collected by Prometheus. For detailed operations, see Connecting to Prometheus.

Modifying Basic Cluster Information

On the cluster overview and basic information page, you can modify the following parameters.
