Scenarios
A Tencent Cloud account supports binding or unbinding passkey and WeChat as login methods. If your passkey or WeChat is not the account's sole login method, you can unbind it in the console. This document guides you on how to modify or unbind login methods in the console.
Notes
Modifying/unbinding a login method triggers identity verification. If your current identity verification method is unavailable, please submit a ticket or contact us. An account must retain at least one login method. Unbinding all login methods is not supported.
Operation Steps
Unbinding a Passkey
2. In the Login Methods section, locate Passkey and click Manage.
3. In the pop-up window, select Delete to remove the created passkey as needed. After the passkey is deleted, you will no longer be able to use it for login and verification on any device that has synchronized this key.
Modifying/Unbinding WeChat
2. In the Login Methods section, locate WeChat and click Modify.
3. In the pop-up window, select Modify Current WeChat/Unlink Current WeChat as needed.
To modify the current WeChat, follow the prompts on the page to complete identity verification. Then, use the WeChat account you want to re-link to scan the QR code for verification. The modification will be successful after these steps.
To unlink the current WeChat, follow the prompts on the page to complete identity verification. The unlinking will be successful after these steps.
