This document describes the cluster specifications of TDMQ for Apache Pulsar standard clusters (elastic storage), including limits on TPS, bandwidth, the number of topics, and the number of partitions, to help you select an appropriate cluster type.
Note:
1. Standard cluster storage uses a two-replica mechanism to ensure high data availability.
2. Standard clusters support online specification upgrades. For specific operations, see Upgrading Cluster Specifications. The upgrade process is theoretically imperceptible to businesses. However, clients may experience disconnections and reconnections when the server rebalances Topic traffic. 3. Namespaces in TDMQ for Apache Pulsar standard clusters (elastic storage) are not distinguished by version, with an upper limit of 100.

Must-Knows
The maximum TPS for message sending and receiving is calculated based on the sum of sent and received general messages with a message size of 4 KB. For messages with advanced features or large messages, the value should be multiplied by the corresponding multiplier. Peak bandwidth indicates the specific inbound and outbound bandwidth values that can be achieved. For detailed calculation methods, see Standard Cluster Billing. Topic * Number of Partitions indicates the total number of partitions of all topics in a cluster. For example, if a cluster contains 2 topics with 3 partitions each and 1 topic with 2 partitions, Topic * Number of Partitions is 8 (3 * 2 + 2 = 8).
