Otherwise, the version check will report a warning about potential compatibility issues. The warning does not prevent the task from proceeding. After assessing that the warning has no impact, you can ignore it and continue with subsequent operations.
2. The source and target database versions are within the range supported by DTS.
Fix
Check the source and target database versions against the version requirements listed in the overview of the specific link type. If the versions are not supported, upgrade the target instance to a supported version or use a database instance with a higher version.
