Adding Collaborators

This document introduces how to add users to Database Management Center (DMC). Users should be sub-accounts or collaborators under the same Tencent Cloud primary account. For example, when an employee joins an enterprise team, they need to first apply for a sub-account or collaborator role before being added to DMC following these steps.

Prerequisites

The operating account should be a Tencent Cloud primary account. A sub-account should already be created. For sub-account creation, see Creating and Authorizing Sub-account.

Directions

1. Log in to the DMC console.
2. In the top menu bar, select System Management > User Management.
3. Click Add User, enter the user account in the pop-up dialog box, select the account role, and then click OK.
4. For the differences between the role of an administrator and the role of a regular account user, see Role Description.

Following Steps

Once a collaborative user is added, the DMC administrator can proceed with database management. For details, see Adding a Database.
