2. Deployment of multiple availability zones in a cluster is now generally available
Deployment of multiple availability zones in a cluster is now generally available Deploying across multiple availability zones ensures continuous service and better fault tolerance for availability zone failures, such as force majeure events or network issues. This also improves cross-datacenter disaster recovery capability. This feature was previously in beta, and users needed to apply to be allowed for access. This feature is now generally available with this release. For more information, see: Multi-AZ Cluster Deployment
3.Version upgrade is now generally available
This feature supports upgrading your ES cluster from an older version to a newer version. X-pack upgrade is also supported. You can upgrade your cluster based on your business needs to implement a seamless business transition. This feature was previously in beta, and users needed to apply to be allowed for access. This feature is now generally available with this release. For more information, see:
