Overview

After the users purchase the Bastion Host service, they need to activate it before it can be used. During the activation process, the region, VPC, and subnet information should be specified.
Note
If the VPC where the activated BH service resides is different from the VPC of the CVM you want to manage, you need to either purchase and activate the BH service for the corresponding VPC or connect the networks between the BH and the CVM using Peering Connection or CCN.

Directions

1. Log in to the BH console.
2. In the left sidebar, choose Activate Package > Service List.
3. On the Service List page, click Activate in the operation column of the corresponding service.
