This document describes how to view the database audit instance list, as well as the field information you can view and the related operations you can perform on the database audit instance list page.

Viewing the Database Audit Instance List
1. Log in to the TDSQL-C for MySQL console.
2. In the left sidebar, click SQL Insight (Database Audit).
3. The page redirects to Database Audit > Audit Instance by default.
4. On the Audit Instance page, you can: view the tool list (quickly filter clusters/instances, refresh the Audit Instance page, and download the audit instance list information), view related feature operations, and view instance list field information.
Tool List
Tool | Description |
Filter | In the search box above the audit instance list, select resource attributes (Instance ID, Instance Name, Cluster ID, Cluster Name, Tag Key, Tag) to filter. Separate multiple keywords with vertical bars, and separate multiple filter tags with the Enter key. |

Audit Status | Function | Description |
Audit service enabled | Disabling Audit Service. | You can disable the audit service. Batch disabling is supported. For details, see Disabling Audit Service. |

Audit Instance List Field Information
Field | Description |
Cluster ID/Name | Displays the cluster ID/name information for all clusters in a region. |
Instance ID/Name | Displays the instance ID/name information for the read-write instances under the corresponding cluster. |
Audit Log Storage Status | Displays the status of whether audit log storage is enabled or not. You can use the Enabled or Not options above the list to filter and display instances with the corresponding status. |
Audit Mode | Displays the audit rules currently configured for the corresponding instance when audit service is enabled: full audit or rule audit. It supports drop-down filtering to display a single rule. |
Log Retention Period | Displays the total storage period (days), frequent access storage period (days), and infrequent access storage period (days) for the corresponding cluster or instance when audit service is enabled. |
Stored Log Size | Displays the total storage volume (MB), frequent access storage volume (MB), and infrequent access storage volume (MB) for the corresponding cluster or instance when audit service is enabled. |
Audit Rule | Displays the number of audit rule templates bound to the instance. When you hover over the audit rule field of the corresponding instance, you can see the ID and name of each rule template. Click a specific rule template to view its detailed rule information, including basic information, parameter settings, and modification history. |
Log shipping | Displays the log shipping status of instances. Disabled: Log shipping is not configured. CKafka: Log shipping to CKafka is configured. CLS: Log shipping to CLS is configured. COS: Log shipping to COS is configured. |
Project | Displays the project to which the corresponding cluster/instance belongs, facilitating easy classification and management of resources. It supports drop-down filtering to display clusters/instances under the desired project. |
Tag (key:value) | Displays the tag information of clusters/instances. |
Enabling Time | Displays the time when audit service was enabled for the corresponding cluster/instance, accurate to the second. |
Operation | Operations for instances with audit service enabled: View audit logs. More (modify audit rules, modify the audit service, configure log shipping, disable the audit service, and create traffic replay). Operations for instances with audit service not enabled: Enable the audit service. |
