This document describes how to modify audit service-related operations in the console.
Note:
If you choose to extend the log retention period, the change takes effect immediately. If you choose to shorten the log retention period, historical logs that exceed the new retention period are purged immediately.
If you set the most recent n days of data to be stored in frequent access storage, data older than n days is automatically migrated to infrequent access storage. After you extend the frequent access storage period, audit data that meets the retention period is automatically migrated from infrequent access storage back to frequent access storage.
Prerequisites
The audit service has been enabled. Single-Instance Audit Service Modification

3. After selecting a region at the top, go to the Audit Instance page. Click Audit Log Storage Status and select Enabled to filter out instances with audit enabled.
4. Locate the target instance in the audit instance list (you can also quickly find it by filtering with resource attributes in the search box). In its Operation column, choose More > Modify Audit Service.
5. In the audit service modification window, after modifying the log retention period or frequent access storage period, click OK.
Batch Audit Service Modification
2. In the left sidebar, select SQL Insight (Database Audit).
3. After selecting a region at the top, go to the Audit Instance page. Click Audit Log Storage Status and select Enabled to filter out instances with audit enabled.
4. Locate the target instance in the audit instance list (you can also quickly find it by filtering with resource attributes in the search box). On the audit instance list page, select multiple target instances, and click Modify Audit Service at the top.
5. In the audit service modification window, after modifying the Log Retention Period or Frequent Access Storage Period, click OK.
Attention:
For easy comparison, the batch audit service modification window displays the log retention period before and after the change. After the modification, the selected instances will be uniformly adjusted according to the new log retention period. Please confirm the information is correct before proceeding with the modification.
