Scenarios
You can log in to the Tencent Cloud KMS (Compliant) console or call the KMS TCCLI to enable or disable the status of a created root key (CMK). This document describes how to enable or disable a root key through the console.
Operation Steps
Single Operation
1. Log in to the KMS (Compliant) console. In the left sidebar, click Key Management > Root Key. 2. On the root key management page, select the root key whose status you want to change. In the Operation column, choose More > Enable/Disable to enable or disable the key.
Batch Operations
1. On the root key management page, select multiple keys whose status you need to change.
2. Above the list, click Enable or Disable . The system will then pop up a confirmation dialog as shown below. Click View Details to confirm the status of the keys involved in this batch operation.
3. After confirming the details, click OK to batch enable or disable the keys.
