Reason for Adjustment
Per the notice from Verisign, the registry operator for .com, the .com registry wholesale price will increase globally effective November 1, 2026. Due to this upstream cost change, Tencent Cloud will adjust .com domain pricing accordingly.

Scope of Adjustment
Registration, renewal, and transfer-in prices for .com domains will increase. Redemption price remains unchanged. Prices for all other domain extensions are not affected.
Important Notes:
1. If you plan to register, renew, or transfer in a .com domain, we recommend completing the transaction before 00:00 on November 1, 2026 (Beijing Time, UTC+8) to be charged at the current price. Due to potential API delays or other technical factors, domain orders placed close to the deadline may fail to process. To avoid any disruption, we strongly advise that you arrange your transactions in advance and avoid last-minute operations.
2. If you intend to hold a .com domain long-term, you may renew for multiple years at once before the price adjustment takes effect to lock in the current rate (up to 10 years per renewal).
3. For domains with auto-renewal enabled, any renewal charged on or after November 1, 2026 will be billed at the new price.
